Training centre for campaign teams and agents
A campaign system is only as good as the people using it. The Training Centre gives each role — HQ staff, supervisors and field volunteers — the training they need, inside the same system they will use.
Runs in: Campaign Manager Portal · See it alongside every module →
Training a campaign workforce
Campaigns recruit fast and train late. Volunteers get a WhatsApp voice note and are expected to run a polling station. Coordinators learn the system by breaking it.
Good training is short, specific to the role and available when people need it — including the week before election day, when hundreds of agents join at once.
What Training centre does
-
Role-based chapters
Separate training for HQ staff, supervisors and field volunteers.
-
Onboarding videos
Short videos that show each task in the system.
-
User manuals
Written guides for reference.
-
Guided tour
An interactive walkthrough of the portal for new users.
-
Field coach
In GroundForce, volunteers can ask questions answered from your campaign material.
How it works
-
Assign roles
Each user gets the role that matches their job.
-
Complete the chapters
Users work through the training for their role.
-
Practise on sample data
A labelled sample campaign lets people practise safely.
-
Refresh before election day
Agents revisit election-day chapters before deployment.
What it does not do
We would rather you know the limits before you buy than discover them in the middle of a campaign.
- In-app training covers using VotePulse. Legal training for agents should follow the IEBC’s own materials; our consultancy team can run in-person sessions.
Who uses it
- New campaign staff

- Ready for election day.
- Party trainers
- A consistent curriculum across campaigns.
Software, or software with our team

Frequently asked questions

Yes. The Training Centre is part of the portal. On-site training is included in the presidential plan and available through our consultancy for other campaigns.
Can we train polling agents with VotePulse?
Yes. Field volunteers and agents have their own training chapters, and the polling agent guide on this site explains the legal framework.
