Kenya has 47 counties, 290 constituencies and 1,450 county assembly wards. Nairobi City has the most constituencies and wards (17 and 85); Lamu and Isiolo have the fewest wards (10).

The 47 counties are set out in the First Schedule to the Constitution. The number of constituencies is fixed at 290 by Article 89(1). The IEBC reviews constituency names and boundaries every eight to twelve years, and reviews wards periodically, so always check the IEBC for the current electoral units.
